Service

So far, I have been to service 4 times and out of the four times, and till date, it has been introduction to the house.  I have missed two sessions of service, once because I had to fly out to India for holidays and the second time because I missed the bus. Next week, the plan is to meet my grandparent who I will spend the next two years with. In this service, I believe I will be hitting 6 out of the 8 learning outcomes for CAS. They are:

Goal Number 1: Increase awareness of your own strengths and areas for growth.

Goal Number 2: Undertake new challenges.

Goal Number 4: Work collaboratively with others.

Goal Number 5: Show perseverance and commitment in your activities.

Goal Number 6: Engage with issues of global importance.

Goal Number 8: Develop New Skills.

MUN

I am doing two activities that count as creativity. They are, MUN and Yearbook. I have already done one MUN conference. I was the delegate of Belgium in the economic and social committee for the UWCSEA – East MUN conference. I am taking part in the SEASAC MUN conference happening in Bangkok in feb’14.

In yearbook, I got the position, “head of marketing and advertisement”. We have not done too much in yearbook except for listing potential sponsors. We are in the midst of writing potential arguments and forming a document that we will be sending to each and every potential document.
